Winter may be finally on its way. The first month of the year and not a flake of snow as of yet. Seems a bit different but then of course I have seen winters like this before. But since winter may be rearing its ugly head you may want to prepare not only your self but your house plants as well.

I know that many of them are all ready inside the house.
There are a few more things that you can do to care for them. Here are a few tips:

Check the leaves of your house plants for brown dry edges. You may want to group your plants together to build up a bit of humidity.

If you find your house a bit dark consider using artificial lights to provide more light for your plants.

In winter growth slows down and may even stop all together. Your indoor plants may not need as much water as they do in warm weather months.

Keep your houseplants longer by keeping them in in a cool but brightly lit area. The best area for your plants are away from warm areas and cold drafts.
